Sapper Support is proud to release and champion our PTSD Lanyard and educational animation video to help raise awareness, and give support, to those with PTSD.

On July 2nd Sapper Support launched the new PTSD lanyard and animation videos to politicians, mental health awareness professionals, business representatives and a bevy of celebrities in London.

Danielle Mason. Honey G and Adam Deacon were among the guests championing the PTSD Lanyard

The PTSD Lanyard is for veterans, 999 workers, and all other people affected by PTSD to help them have a safe way to signal their need for support and to identify themselves if they ever find themselves overwhelmed when in public or at work

Sapper Support has created the below educational animation video to go with the lanyard to help businesses, community groups, shop staff and the general public, identify the signs of distress in an individual with PTSD and offers guidance on how to help as well as offering some ‘not to dos’ that may escalate a situation.

Sapper Support is offering free use of the video to all businesses and groups to educate as many people as possible about PTSD and the best way to help, support and empathise with sufferers

a member of Sapper support said,

“We want people to understand the effects of PTSD amongst those vulnerable, and take a step in the right direction in creating a helpful platform for the important movement towards mental health.”

With over 4 million veterans in the UK and 1 in 4 people suffering from depression and mental health, with incidents on the rise, the education around PTSD is much needed.

The proud team behind Sapper Support.
